Maintenance methods of Chinese tractor air filter

The air filter is an important component of the diesel engine air supply system. It can purify the air entering the intake pipe. If the air filter is not maintained in time or incorrectly, it will damage the cylinder liner, piston rings, intake and exhaust valves and other parts. Severe early wear will reduce engine power and even seriously shorten the service life of the engine.

Specific maintenance methods:

1. The filter (metal mesh type) can be cleaned in time according to the operating time and conditions. During installation, the cleaning oil should be soaked in after the cleaning oil drips dry, and the excess oil should be drained before assembly.

2. The dry paper filter element cannot be cleaned with diesel. During maintenance, you can gently tap the two ends of the filter element to shake off the dust, then sweep it with a soft brush or blow it from the back with compressed air.

3. Oil bath filter. Check and replace the oil in the oil pan of the oil bath air filter regularly. The oil level must not exceed the ring groove in the oil pan to prevent oil from being sucked into the cylinder, causing carbon deposits or causing overrun. When the engine oil becomes thicker and has poor fluidity, it must be cleaned and replaced in time. Filtered waste engine oil must be diluted by adding 1/3 of diesel to the engine oil in winter.

4. The dust in the centrifugal dry filter and the central pipe wall must also be removed during maintenance.

5. During installation, all connecting parts must be tightened to keep them tight and air-tight.
